You’re right Kurt. But I find it difficult to not get involved when he is talking rubbish about covid. I know most people that read these threads think for themselves and don’t get sucked in by misinformation. But there might be the odd person that reads it and does. So it is important to counteract that with facts. They won’t change his point of view but they might stop someone falling down the rabbit hole.

Mate I’ve not read anything he posts, he’s been here before and thrives on wumming the forum with some false sense of intellectual superiority… when the truth is, if he had an original thought in his head it would quickly become lonely… he’s a non entity… an empty vessel… a sad internet troll who craves attention. You see their contrasting natures in this little video, how Mogg is easy-going and respectful of the working-class folk they are interviewing, while Jess is all in-yer-face and superior.

@everyone else, please do ignore if engaging with me stresses you out. i get lots of replies because i think we have good deep discussion (despite differences), maybe we even get closer to understanding stuff, it doesn't matter who's wrong or right.

I do agree with the double-space after a full stop. Been doing that all my life, even on typewriter back in the 90's. The problem is most modern forum software override you: they automatically remove the extra space, GOT included.

Jess Phillips is an arsehole, but Rees-Mogg humble and respectful of working class folk?

Rees Mogg might be an erudite speaker (or sesquipedalian poser, depending on your point of view) who has the good manners of the upper class, but his on the records comments (Grenfell, plant-pots etc), business practices and voting record reveal the truth of him.
