Well, your original comment about Merkel being smarter than Boris got 3 likes. I was just presenting to you an alternative point of view, from folk native to Merkel's competence.

i.e. Merkel isn't necessarily smarter than Boris. She is objectively more cautious, based on policy. Is cautious always smart? Is a 30-year old smart because he still lives with his mum?
