Pete. This is a wind-up. We have had much debate and one thing you are certainly not is thick. The man has no substance other than obesity, no grasp of detail and would sell every job in the UK for a spell of power. He needs a much deserved fatal heart attack.

But he is a leader. People will follow him. The country will follow him. Philip Hammond has all the grasp of detail you could ever want, but people wouldn’t even follow him to the bar for a free drink......

Pete. He is not a leader. To lead you need a clue where you are heading. Yes, he has the ability to persuade people who struggle to think beyond a soundbite to follow him, I agree.

He has no principles, no grasp of detail and no idea deeper than drivel about Britain being great, which it is far from. For the ordinary people of this country he is a very dangerous individual. No diplomatic skills, no grasp of anything of substance.

Phil Hammond does grasp detail, you are correct and he is as opposite to that half-wit as it is possible to be in the same party.

There will be literally hundreds of stories to explode around Johnson. His personal life is an absolute mess and the leaking of all that will be enough to deny him a huge swathe of Tory activists. Leaving that aside though, just point a microphone in his direction and it'll be a dropped bollock on every occasion.

I hope and pray he becomes Tory leader. I just dont think the Tories will allow that eventuality.
Like they did with Trump, that worked out well.
