That is what at least half the media, including parts of the BBC, is telling everyone though. I bet if you spent time actually questioning any of those callers, you would find very quickly that they were just repeating lines they've heard elsewhere.

yeah, because only you know how to think for yourself, everyone else is parroting something they’ve read in the papers.....or just maybe they are not.......

Do you think he was a bit dodgy lobbing a load of cash at his latest (at the time) squeeze as London Mayor? Do you think he has the UKs best interests centre stage, or that of (allegedly) a bunch of hedgies who stand to make a few bob from a No Deal exit?

Do you think his dismissal of genuine concerns about his (to some) inflammatery language re "surrender" etc is in any way appropriate for a PM?

In short, do you trust him? Or his puppet master Cummings?

Many don’t even question anything that suits their already chosen viewpoint, and will regurgitate blatant lies as a direct result.

See the Lisbon treaty nonsense for details - 9 months on, people are still quoting that absolute jarg as ‘fact’.

Don’t be silly Roydo. Boris is a chancer, a character, flawed, probably untrustworthy, tells lies, in short he is a politician. But like it or not he is a million miles better than Corbyn or any of the other chancers and robots at Westminster.....

"a character"

Downing Street has denied a claim that Boris Johnson squeezed a female journalist's thigh under the table at a private lunch. Writing in the Sunday Times , Charlotte Edwardes said the incident happened to her at the offices of the Spectator magazine in 1999. A Number 10 spokesman said: "This allegation is untrue." But Ms Edwardes said if the PM "doesn't recollect the incident then clearly I have a better memory than he does".

In her first column for the Sunday Times, published on the eve of the Conservative conference in Manchester, Ms Edwardes said she was seated on Mr Johnson's right. "More wine is poured; more wine is drunk. Under the table I feel Johnson's hand on my thigh. He gives it a squeeze. "His hand is high up my leg and he has enough inner flesh beneath his fingers to make me sit suddenly upright." Ms Edwardes said another woman at the lunch later told her he had done the same to her. Mr Johnson was editor of the Spectator at the time.
