Honestly, just reading or saying the words "Prime Minister Liz Truss" is ridiculous. I can't do it without shaking my head and having a wry chuckle. It's impossible. We. Are. Buggered.

I knew damn well what followed would be worse, but Johnson's behaviour had become so corrosive to the institutions that hold this country together his removal was vital, even in spite of that.

I reckon there's more revelations to come about Johnson, too.

The only way the conservatives, led by Johnsonites (Truss simply a dummy), win the next election is if Labour policies a). oppose Brexit or b). don't address immigration. I'm afraid to say it Pete but your lot are out of No. 10 in two years if the above criteria isn't met...
