I voted stay, not because I'm particularly a fan of Moyes, more that the owners would mess up the process of finding a better replacement, plus we've been down the road of changing managers every season or so. Also the squad is so poor I'd doubt that any manager could get more than a mid table finish out of them.

You fools. It’s all part of his master plan.

We’ve been safe from relegation for ages, these last few months have been about how low he can get away with finishing, so NEXT SEASON we can finish a bit higher, maybe get that bottom rung European gig, and he can be hailed as a magician again.

The safest tactic in football isn’t 4-5-1 - it’s telling everyone the squad isn’t good enough beforehand.”

Nothing Moyes or his team did today has been any different to countless games this season, the fact he waited for over 70 minutes before introducing a sub confirms he was happy with the tactical tripe he was serving up. If he doesn’t go at the end of the season we will be scratching around the managerial dregs mid season again. It’s a death spiral which can only end through being brave, having vision and a discernible plan, which are all traits missing from recent owners, board members and managers of Everton and just look at the state it’s left the club in.
The content of that statement of Kinnear’s alongside the timing of it gave me far more cause for concern about the general direction of the club and his competency as a LinkedIn CEO, than really anything else. ‘Compelling’…wtf?

If we see that statement of Kinnear’s off the back of the run of games that we have had with the slow, passive awful football, with yound new signings not being played, then you can bet anyone that applies an ounce of scrutiny to our clubs and it’s prospects can (agents and transfer targets).

There is no way I would join us when you have other clubs who are more attractive to join in terms of playing style, young player development and Europe next year.

There’s something about when we go on a break at this club. We’re never the same team either side of it. Really strange and it happens repeatedly
Couple that with the first 10 minutes of the second half in our games
God knows what is said at half time , but we come out lethargic and clueless like yesterday .
That gave Sunderland the momentum and you just knew they would take advantage. Yet again throwing away a lead.

We never seem to have consistency in both halves , its been a worry all season.

One point = one notch🙂 more for the fact we bagged points early and were never looking at the relegation spots early doors.
A win at Spurs won't be enough to paper over the cracks though.
It’s a low bar though isn’t it, this is the problem. People traumatised by relegation battles that we should apparently be thrilled with 13th and multiple blown chances of Europe (moreso the media and losers on here saying that, not directed at yourself)

It not very difficult. Stay away from british and the choice is kind of easy!

A few matches ago I was in the stay camp. Now I'm in the not bothered if he stays or goes camp. I'm still concerned we could be involved in another relegation scrap if we rolled the dice though.

They did well in bringing in Gasperini at Roma after some missteps last season

I was never much of a fan first time around - in a long period he saved us tick - The best moments was when he teamed up with Alan Irvine & we had two of the best overlapping fullbacks in Baines & Coleman - the heady days in Europe Paneer was a great signing etc still like Gordon Lee unfortunately won us nothing -

Then the disgraceful way he left us - snidely - He returned & did his job - time to look elsewhere now his age is against him - Football boring etc...

A broken man with zero tactics and now zero motivation.

It's gone for him here.

He came in and did a job between January 2025 and May 2025. Five months when he looked like he might be the answer.

Since then he's done everything to underline he's not the answer, he's a problem that needs to be solved.

The mood among supporters is to hope that the owners read the room. They wont.

Stuck with Moyes.
