The new new David Moyes Poll

When we where in the top eight or wherever after beating Chelsea, I thought he deserved a contract extension and thought that a top eight finish was likely.

Since that game, the wheels have completely fallen off and it's just been the typical Moyes tactics, subs, results and capitulations of old. An opportunity arises and it's the same old, and then we could still end up below Leeds and Fulham, which would be terrible really.

Thank him for keeping us away from a relegation fight, but we need to progress, which we haven't.
We could well end 14th now: the very lowest of the range of possible finishes for us when we beat Chelsea. That says it all.

The players have stopped playing for him.

Looks that way to me.

I'm not entirely sure that's true.

I think our issue is that we have a manager, and CEO who are publicly saying what we are doing now is fine. So of course people check out.

I think the players probably like him, but there's no standards.

If it's a few bad apples or whatever that can be changed. I don't really know how we change the above culture.

New manager and new players

Honestly can’t believe people want another season of players playing out of position, dreadful tactics and a happy to be mediocre attitude.

Football is supposed to be fun as well. This ain’t fun.

You're all over the place. One minute you support him, the next you cant believe other people dont want him out.

Make your mind up.

Ok, we got the stability we were after and it would have been great to get into Europe this season in what has been an opportunity handed to us on about three different plates. What disappoints me is we haven't played to the very end this season busting a gut to finish as best as we possibly can. Since beating Chelsea 3-0, it's like we've kicked back a little and are seeing the season out.

Today I saw a Sunderland team working hard for 90 minutes. Even at 3-1 they were bombing forward for the 4th.

Tottenham will be right up for it next week, we won't. It will be a typical Everton last day of the season performance and we'll lose.

I don't know what the message is from Moyes and Irvine, if the word safety and stability and plans for next season are top of the agenda in team meetings then it makes sense as to what we are seeing on the pitch.

Let's make the change as we are going back to the jobs for the boys mentality and playing on the "plucky little Everton" tag too much.

Imagine a better manager with a Garner, N'Diaye, KDH,Rohl, JOB and Branthwaite at his disposal. You won't see Michael Keane on the pitch whatsoever.

May even see the emergence of Aznou and Dibling.

lets go for the next step. No point waiting another year just to watch the same again.

It's almost as if, they too feel that they are being sent out in such a way that it hampers all of them.

And the fact that Moyes doesn't rotate in the modern game and our better/or regular players are absolutely goosed at the end of the season, seems to not even be a consideration to him. He's so far behind the times, he'll be blaming our lack of summer signings on the failed NTL deal.

Form when it is an extreme very rarely doesn’t carry over from the end of one season to the beginning of the next. E.g. Spurs were abject at the back end of last season, as were the RS. The signs were there for their relative poor seasons this year.

Likewise, in the positive sense, Leicester's remarkable end of season run to stay up the year before they won the title. Lengthy runs of form and belief are essential.
