The Media

I could take it if they were fair and said it how it is. I we were [Poor language removed] and they said it, fair enough.

But to be deliberately biased and fair is not on, especially from the BBC.

Why should I be forced not to watch it because of the [Poor language removed] they turn out.

And I agree on the papers bit. Just make up a load of crap

BBC - BBC Sport: Phil McNulty: Moyes & Everton face testing times

Decent fair little piece there, makes a few good points I feel.

Hoping it's not, but is that not an image of a man in deep personal turmoil ?? :(

I absolutely detest so called "newspapers" and how they get away with the complete crap they print.

I often have this argument with a guy at work who buys the sun. He will read it and constantly moan about whats in it, yet when i tell him to simply not buy it because him doing so just encourages them to print crap he has no response.

Bad journalists are no better than pieces of crap.

We get the media we deserve in this country...............its crap. The Mail should be left on the shelf, the Sun announces its support for a political party as though it is the conscience for every person living in this country, BBC bias is there for all to see, as Coyney says 'they woo media darlings so we'll never get in their club' Why people should want to buy newspapers in this day and age is a puzzle to me, I canceled the Echo because I was only doing the suduko and crosswords the remainder was left unread.

I think that newspapers should be held to account for the lies they issue as fact...............we could do with a TV prog looking back at all the stupid headlines given out by the tabloids that proved to be very wide of the mark or as is more normal totally untrue and ask the editors to come on air to justify them, could call it 'Have I got [Poor language removed] for you' or similar.......the lack of morals shown in the gutter press has led to a collapse in our society of such things as respect and decency

BBC News - Tiger Woods to blame for Orlando car crash

This story is currently most read on the BBC site.

It knocks other "news" such as the additional troops surge in Afghanistan, mass murder in Ohio and many other things more important in the day.

The media is celebrity obsessed, sensationalist [Poor language removed] and they've hoodwinked the majority of the nation it seems.

Well tbh, the Tiger thing is more interesting. The other stuff is more important, certainly, but who actually wants to read about it?

Cause of or by-product?

Either way, I don't get any newspapers. Only read them for the sports reports. Anything else I get on here and other internet sites.
