Name me another club outside the top 5 who have had 5 players linked to moves away inside 60 days

Name me a club in the league that hasnt had at least 1 player linked via the media to another club.

Lets deal with the "top 6".

Spurs, Lloris
City, Sergio
Arse, Sanchez
RS, Coutinho
Utd, Rooney
Chelsea, Costa

But when it happens to Everton, its a meeeeja conspicacaceee.

The fact is, we havent won a pot for 20+ years, they treat us like we should be treated.

Its on US to change the perception.

As The Mosh said, its not enough to say your special, you gotta show it.

There were lots of press stories about Leicester players going to other clubs right after they won the league and Spurs have routinely had the press speculate about so called "big clubs" pinching their employees including manager.

The only time it really winds me up is like when that journalist was so determined to sell Stones that he mentioned it in every single thing he published on us for months on end, even if it wasn't about Stones.

The media sell every top player in this country as long as they don't play for Man United (Unless it's to Real Madrid). They'll fake news it until something they really want to happen actually happens, like Lukaku rejecting an Everton contract. A weeks news right there.

Bit of a jump from 1 to 5 you hippo

We need to start acting like a big club or nothing will change. It's up to Moshiri to change perceptions and that means stadium, big investment in players, and most importantly winning lots of football matches.

Yep agree its the main man who it should be filtering down from, and it does seem to be in the relatively short space of time he has been here. But there is definitely a (understandable) inherent negative vibe which flows through the club, lets hope we can sort that in the next few years and get us back where we belong!

The media pushing their noses up at us has been going on for decades. It's not even paranoia at this point. It's blatant.
It probably started back in the 60s with the Mersey Millionaires nickname.
There is definitely an unspoken agenda shall we say to downplay anything and everything related to Everton.
