I'm no economist mate, and don't really have an idea whether the right or the slighty to the left have the better policy in these tough times, but its the obvious lack of any compassion that steers me away from the republicans or the tories, and in America's case it seems the right are in a lot of cases anti-science even

how about the spellows? used to be rammed when I was still going there match days, tough times for pubs I know, but assumed these players survived on match days anyway, and would be more secure than your average boozer

Well said. I just can't stand the "I've got mine, and anyone below me is a bum". Yes a lot of them are anti-science. I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of talking politics on here. I've tried to swerve that as much as possible, but honestly some of my countrymen absolutely do my head in.

Hopefully it will re-open. The County closed for a bit but reopened so fingers crossed

It's mind-numbingly big and diverse. I've been to a lot of places, and have probably only seen less than 50% of my own country. I've said before that referring to America as one entity is kind of silly.
