Pixies night for me Cena. Just watched the documentary "Gouge" again on youtube and now watching their live show from last September at the Olympia.
Acest band ever. Seeing them here in less than 3 weeks. Made up.

Meh. A few boss tunes. I'm mad at the Breeders for taking Kim away from the Pixies now. The only time I saw them was opening for U2, which was an amazing double bill, but I wanted to see the Pixies with the original lineup. Never to be for me sadly.

Loved the first album, second was notable for Canonball but wasnt great really. I liked them though, I just think Kim is boss.

Kim is boss. I get seriously nostalgic watching these documentaries and watching old live footage. Just takes me back to when I was 19-22. The late 80's/early 90's.

Super jealous of you getting to go see them, JDawg. The tickets for their November 2013 show in Manchester sold out ridiculously fast

I think it will help give you a grounding in who they were and what they mean, and what they still mean.
Then fire up Doollittle and Surfer Rosa and move on to Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde.
