Not really respectful this and a bit lacking of empathy. Most of the time, the younger the mum the less support she receives from her social network; so any other support she gets is a huge plus for her and her future offspring so that he/she could make more rational choices.
Kids aren't stupid. Now, more than ever they know the consequences of sex and the importance of contraception. If they choose to have babies (and it IS a choice with the options available.) then I'm not sure why they should go to the front of a queue for a council house and get it paid for by people who have to graft to put a roof over their heads.

I'm genuinely empathetic towards people who contribute and deserve better, not to those who have been utterly reckless and foresee a life on the social. Which is exactly the type of lifestyle that this type of policy bred last time Labour where in power.

So why don't we nationalise Airports and Planes, or Taxis, or car hire.....as I've posted most people do not use the railways so why should they have to pay for them.....
Most people don't use the railways so why should others pay for them! You really are hitting new lows aren't you. It's all me me me me me with you. A lot of people hardly go and see a doctor, like me thankfully atm, but does that mean I shouldn't pay national insurance to help others who do need It? No. Should I not contribute to benefits because atm I don't use them and those less fortunate than me need them? No

Typical I'm alright Jack response. No social responsibility.

Wonderful, Utopia by the sea. If it's all going to be so great why do we need an extra 10,000 policemen and women, 3,000 more prison officers and 1,000 more border officers.....

Because the tories are under funding these areas right now Pete so they need fixing. Dur.

The majority of people in the UK do not use the railway. Nationalising it just means that the majority, who do not use it, now have to pay for it. Whether prices or services go up or down, why should people be forced to pay for something they do not use ?.......

Hahahaha. This is ace.

I'm a great believer in whole life education and training and indeed undertook many specialist courses via the open university. Now there is a body that I'd like any government to throw money at.....

It's an ongoing frustration that none of the job centre type services utilise (or have even heard of) the OU created FutureLearn service (or their ilk from around the world).

Equally frustrating is that reading the NHS section, they don't make a single mention to the NHS England strategy update that was published days before May announced the election. The service would really benefit from cross-party support for this strategy rather than each trying to outdo the other in some way, shape or form.

Hey look what Ben Fogle has found in a restaurant garden apparently.......

The options available; you do realize that for most it isn't that straightforward.

Seriously most teenage pregnancies are unplanned. With most it isn't a choice. With some it is; but the large majority has different ideas. The only thing you can blame them is that they have been reckless. Teenagers who display such recklessness are much more likely to have poorer health, education, and a low social economic status.

If you don't help them in their time of need you're making it harder for them and their offspring to contribute later on. They are young people, the majority of them don't "foresee a life on the social".

And honestly why does everybody keep calling extreme-left. The majority of the things he wants are already present in Holland, Belgium, Germany ... Call him left if you must but extreme left, that's pushing it a little.

its called the university of life @peteblue, to many students atm imo getting degrees in what not all a waste of time but the subjects are never going to gain employment, we need the old apprenticeship 4 year deal fetching trades people up to reconstruct our failing industires proper apprenticeships paid for is far better than free universities imo!

I hope at some point a good socialist gets in, gets rid of the royal family and dissolves the union just to see all you market town living xenophobes be forced to join the 21st century. You detestable lizards I'm laughing my cock off at scousers hating you and you having to live with that guilt of following Everton.

I'm with you mate, I think it's the best manifesto since Michael Foot's. I know it was before your time but that one in 83 was a classic, no idea how that bitch Thatcher got in......

Oh Pete. Desperately grasping to the "you're too young" bantz despite having no idea how old I am. You tragic dying old dinosaur. You want to be shamed that the kids these days have an abundance of what you don't, namely compassion and a liver not full of cirrhosis from drinking Tesco gin.

Privatisation of the rail networks is a must for me. We as a government pay more for our railways which are private compared to France and its state owned railway.

Some of the profits from our railways actually go back to SNCF for them to improve the lines in France.

I never travel by train in this country becuase its crap and expensive. Mainland Europe though is on a different level and majority is state controlled.
