All these Southerners telling the people of Liverpool what to think about their community.

Wonder if they go round telling black people that racism doesn't exist too.

EDIT: I'm fairly sure they do actually, at least in the Daily Mail comments section.
Is must peculiar that there's an absence of scouseness amongst these tories that know so much more about how city than we do. Well played them!

Yet you are happy to quote that lad from London in the same post.......strange world....

I'm happy to quote somebody from anywhere in the world if they're stating evidence-based facts rather than blindly regurgiatating Tory lies.

I wish I was a Southern Tory. Uni would be so much easier then. Sometimes I sit in a lecture and wonder what all the big words mean. If only someone from the Conservative party could be there to explain.

Imagine how much simpler your life would be without empathy and compassion for others not as fortunate as you?

Have Labour claimed success for the Macron victory yet ?.......

Hahahaha......a tongue in cheek question, yet out they come.......

"Baroness Smith, Shadow Leader of the House of Lords, described Emmanuel Macron’s win as a victory for “optimism” before she targeted Brexit and Donald Trump voters.

Speaking to BBC’s Radio 4, the Labour politician claimed that the win for the En Marche! candidate indicated a shift in politics across the globe.

Ms Smith also suggested that the centrist had used techniques from Tony Blair’s election campaign in 1997 which offered optimism to the people.

She said: “It just seems to me is what he is offering is hope, idealism and optimism. "

Unless Breitbart say otherwise then I have my reservations that he does.
I have never been on the Breitbart website in my life.
@WycombeToffee, you are aware that none of this is true, aren't you?
- Did Liverpool go into "managed decline"? NO
- Did the city centre undergo a massive redevelopment under a Tory UDC? YES
- Has the economy recovered considerably since 2010, with borrowing reduced, deficit halved, unemployment at record lows, income inequality at record lows? YES

- Only thanks to Michael Heseltine.

- This was almost solely because of EU funding.

- Actual LOL at that attempt at a point, I won't even dignify it with a response.

Did Liverpool go into decline? Yes.
Did the city centre undergo a redevelopment under a Tory UDC? Yes. Would it have if Heseltine hadn't kicked off? No.
Has the economy recovered considerably since 2010? Personal debt has returned to a pre-crash high, the Coalition government borrowed £555 billion, taxes went up and the deficit is reduced, but not eliminated.

Is income equality at record lows? No.
