Nigel Farrage certainly played a part of making that slimeball Cameron even give us a referendum but I'd personally argue he's done just as much harm as good to the cause. Lots of us have been eurosceptics long before he made it 'hip' to be so. It's been a cross party issue since we first joined. The rise of UKIP aka Farrage was a protest vote and a rejection of the mainstream party's refusal to aknowlage peoples fellings of our membership. Farrage was thrust to the forefront of the debate by the media, first as a joke by the sneering elitists who regarded the whole issue as a joke and then as a smeer campaign in an outrageous attempt to portray anyone even unconvinced about the EU as a UKIPer and racist. Farrage himself is a complete egomaniac (much like most politician's) and has damaged the imagine of the whole cause through his personal crusade. However without the rise of Farrage (partial mirage though is may be) the worm Cameron would never of given us the referendum to begin with.

Kinnock was/is a much better orator than Corbyn..

Corbyn is a more decent person than Kinnock (I'm not slagging Kinnock off by the way) and most others. This is why I'm voting for him - he has vision, morality, empathy and fairness.

I can't think of many people less deserving of a knighthood than Nigel Farage. That's a shocking shout.
Well he obviously won't get one will he? He's far to divisive a figure for that but he'd hardly be the first person to receive one without deserving it would he?! David Beckham comes to mind. The whole thing is a ludicrous pat on from the back by the establishment for a perceived popular figure.

Yes - but he wouldn't launch a first strike with our nuclear missiles, so clearly he is a dangerous lunatic who must be stopped.

It's funny how we (or at least the media) perceive what a strong leader is and what a dangerous loon ball one is, for example Corbyn is dangerous because he doesn't agree about using nuclear weapons, yet Trumps also crazy because he acted fast against Syria and telling north Korea he will attack if he has to

So what do people actually want a leader to do if the difficult decision for war is made, damned if you do and damned if you dont

The Trump one especially - people spent months telling us all about the likelihood of Trump doing something crazy and/or illegal, and yet the moment he goes and does it the same people cheer him.
