I'm not a shorts man, and rarely drink anything but wine over dinner at home, but I enjoy the company in the pub, it keeps me sane (ish)........

Thats what i always found about the whole match day pub meetings it wasnt the alcohol more the meeting up with friends and putting the world and Everton to rights,I dont understand the drink to get drunk culture

In here its more how shall I say? Anonymous I suppose,people are more likely to say something they wouldnt in a pub,plus sarcasm doesnt come across too well on a forum,things are less heavy when sitting with friends enjoying company

I find that. Things I write with a smile on my face as a joke, get hijacked and turned into a complete misrepresentation. People take things far too seriously.....

One of a few on that stuff, I had to go to work straight from there as well at 6am,do you recall that young lad , walking out of the pub mid winter on that, hours later we found him asleep in the doorway near. frozen, his mum banned him coming out with us after that.
