Yes weapons of mass destruction that never existed ...........
Only MP to shred his expenses sheets via a shreader........as the police were entering his residence .....
The scientist who allegedly committed suicide on his dossier that claimed their were no Weapons of mass destruction......claimed never to have met him yet chaired the meeting.....
Chosen as the peace envoy for the Middle East ..,...

Labour need him like a hole in the head .....

As he was a socialist PM with a blue rossette on - he never repealed the Thatcher trade union laws......

A total pro EU politician, toxic, and you think Corbyn did badly .........

I see the scales have fallen from Starmers’ eyes, and he has finally realised that the people around him are useless.

If only there had been some way of finding out beforehand that the people involved with Owen Smith’s and Liz Kendall’s leadership bids were crap at politics.
 
If Labour loses Batley and Spen then Starmer has to go. His only saving grace will be the media giving him every benefit of the doubt that was never afforded to Corbyn at any point.

The problem for Labour is that the best person for leader doesn't even have a seat in parliament atm.

If he'd bothered to follow through with the promises he made in the leadership election he wouldn't be in this position. Instead he's been led astray by people who are far more interested in defeating the left than they are the government.

Being cheered on by sections of the media hasn't helped either. It's created the party they think the public wants when the reality couldn't be further from the truth. Basically Change UK on a larger scale.

Blair was amazeballs for the country it was just a shame Bush had him by the short and curlys and dragged him into the Iraq nonsense.

Covered that in my first post on matter in the Tory scum thread. Suffice to say opposition parties electorate collaborated, and Labour rules dictate they have to field candidate what they did with candidate was not very much from all accounts.
Starmer does not have the power alone to not field candidate, however, he does have power not to throw the kitchen sink. This does not detract from the obvious swing to Libdems either. Brexit is here now, the proof is in the pudding as they say and it's not very good.

All common sense this, but surely Starmer has to say that is what they are going to do beforehand - something like the important thing is to send a message to this awful government, that Labour will take the high road and not seek party political advantage, do what’s best for the country etc.

Because he didn’t do that, he is now under pressure and we’ll have Davey and the rest of that shower claiming they are the real opposition again.

He just wants to dress up in Ermine and swan about the Lords. He knew the Tories wouldn’t let the little egotist into the HoL, so now he’s for Labour in the hope that they nominate him......

pete with Claire Fox in ermine everyone in the country should feel aggrieved they didn’t get £300 a day too

also FWIW Labour have nominated him already (they did in Corbyn’s last few months), so that last theory of yours can be filed along with the rest of them in the usual container
