The party has been struggling for years, but post 2017 the rate of decline has been shocking. Turns out that people aren't going to vote for a party where its own MPs openly attack it at every given opportunity.

No coincidence when the party were ran by the Centrists we had the golden years of Nu Labour.

What would have been worse was if Labour voters didn't vote tactically and still finished third while allowing the Tories to win. Not going to read anything in the numbers, this was a purely tactical election.

Bercow has just got Boris off the hook. The Delta variant, loss of a by-election and a few other incidents were beginning to build a case against Boris, but in a single stroke the discredited and hated Bercow has joined Labour and demands Boris be removed. It will have the absolute opposite effect........
