Not sure mate tbh - as someone who's been after a 2nd dog for over a year the lockdown made demand higher so prices have shot up from avout 1k for a KC bred dog to over 3k in some instances which ultimately has priced many people out the market.

The worry for me is that inevitably that would happen in most areas such as hospitality, travel etc and not do its intended target of propping up the poorest in society.

Personally I think it would be better reforming the welfare system and giving greater help to those in need.

I am glad you explained that.

A lot of my friends have bought puppies this past year and the amount of dough they spent is truly jaw dropping.

£1500 is the cheapest price I have heard

I had no idea it was due to COVID lockdown increasing the demand.

Penny Mordaunt absolutely destroyed Angela Rayner

Yes, Mordaunt. Plenty of smarm and little in the way of answers in that response. The problem you've got, of course, is that any accusations made towards this government of impropriety in their dealings are based on rumour and innuendo by default, because they don't make any information available to the public about their dealings.

Not like Mordaunt is any stranger to lying, either.

I particularly liked the way Rayner was sat not wearing a mask, but as the torment continued raised her mask and covered her face....absolutely destroyed....

Absolute clowns:

How can they be so stupid, with all the allegations of antisemitism floating around, to use the phrase "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free"? What happens to Israeli in that scenario? "From the river to the sea" is a hugely problematic phrase for either side to use, which also has connections to the Israeli lunatic fringe "Greater Israel" movement, meaning to from the Euphrates to the sea. Neither side should be using it. It's grim, and it alludes to the extermination of one or the other people.

Unbelievable idiocy.

And this is why people REALLY need to learn their stuff before saying too much about this issue.
