Whatever your ideology this strategy is really weird...

It isn't weird - this is what that lot do, what they've done consistently for more than a decade. The problem is that when this fails they'll still be there, just as they've managed to avoid the sack for every other mess they've caused.

The truly maddening thing is how Starmer has bet every single bit of his remaining political capital on them.

With the names being promoted and the current direction of Johnson and co, we are genuinely looking at a Labour Party which is to the right of the Tories on the economy.

Yes the second paragraph, what is he doing... I don't think he is bad guy. But I'm utterly baffled by him
