It’s fair to blame advisers to an extent but he has the power to say ‘actually that’s not a good idea’ He must be able to think for himself. I don’t get his refusal to really try getting things to stick on the tories either. He’s just flip flopping around and doing a spectacular job of losing more voters.Just being a normal person would be a start. He comes across as wooden as Theresa May. You do wonder who's advising him though? He's taken a plane to Scotland to discuss trade in the year of the climate talks, and spoken about how building bombs can help to bolster communities. Just needless gaffs, and that's before his apparent determination not to criticise the Tories for anything Brexit or sleaze related.
