Weird to get very angry about someone not taking the effort to engage with something and then aiming the response at the wrong person

Sincerest apologies, my friend, if this went to you by mistake. I’m afraid this ol’ white guy with a Romany past ain’t too good with the technology so please forgive my crude misdirection.

It was in fact aimed @davek (let’s hope I got that bit right).

Just in case you’re interested: Im not in the least bit irked by the poster Davek, davek, whatever; just making a point.

Let’s hope nobody else reading also misconstrues.

Bad form.

I've got friends who live on the road and they're nothing like that. They keep.themselves to themselves and live a (mostly) quiet, sustainable.existence. Quite a few left the country when this was first mooted.

They're all absolutely shitting themselves about this new legislation.

Travellers are like any other group in society, they're alright for the most part, but some of them are absolute feral scumbags.

This legislation won't stop scumbags from being scumbags but it will lead to an awful lot of human misery and suffering.

It’s only weird because my incompetence with the workings of the icons and technology in general - which I had the courage to admit on open forum - resulted in it going to the wrong poster @dead_soft - (who, instead of having the good grace to acknowledge my apology ‘liked’ your sleight; obviously one of the crowd which I find contemptible). It also speaks volumes about you laughing at someone’s frailties, if that is indeed the case.

To get back to the point of it all, I’ve no business with anyone here apart from @davek for the reasons given in my earlier post.

It happened to be a topic on Travellers in the Labour Party forum, but it could equally have been in the POTUS or any other forum or containing a sensitive topic, as if there is one, he’s there causing division.

I guess I just find him distasteful.

That’s the ploy, the fish on the hook. You see, the sentence which started with the words in bold - which might have had me expressing my agreement with the notion or, to the contrary, my abhorrence to it - was never completed. It was just diatribe to mask the omission.

As expected, @davek swallowed it hook, line and sinker as was his eagerness to score a point, the impetuous poster he seems.

And that’s all it was. A ploy, not an opinion.

I’m just saddened that others seem to have done the same, although I’m not surprised.
