Nice to see you do have an optimistic side! :) It is quite a big manifesto to plough through. However if they do get in hopefully they can do it all and without plunging the country into enormous debt. I would be more than annoyed if they ended up kicking the can down the road so we just end up with Austerity 2: The Revenge.

But you know that this is what would happen, so why vote for it.......

It’s not though Dave, and Labour can do sod all about it. Only the conservatives can force an election, and they won’t do it........
It's the only option for Brexiteers and May herself to break the log jam of Brexit: either of the options on Brexit each prefer would be inevitably binned by parliament. You tell me another way out of that....

But they do when they buy it. They pay stamp duty, they pay legal fees, on money that they have already been taxed on. They then pay rates. This is just an envy tax, nothing more......let’s not pretend, if this nonsense were to ever happen, then all the second home owners would put the property into their other halves names, or a trust fund, apart from the wealthy Labour supporters who will be overjoyed to pay an extra tax.......

There is already higher rate stamp duty for people who have another property in their name, I almost got stung for £6,500 Just to add my wife to my mortgage. God knows what this new tax is going to do.

If it means stopping housing in the UK as means to stash cash with good return and going back to housing as home for people to live in, it's part of a very good future housing policy, it will bring back home owning nation.

So anyway, this £1,000,000,000,000 of unfunded Labour promises from the last election, any explanation ?.......

He has made it clear from the start mate, but you wouldn't hear that would you.

Sercurity is a major factory. My understanding there is minimum 3 year tennency in Labour housing policy, although welcome, not nearly enough many situations.

It needn't be thus though? I mean a lot more people rent in Germany and seem fine with it. I've been in the same rented place for 6 years now, and whilst security is good, so to is flexibility of being able to move should it be needed.

Yeh lots of things in Germany like national investment banks are scoffed at here by the centrist in the UK as being Marxist and similar to renting, bet it's far more regulated than ours, therefore Marxist, innit.

That’s all very good and worthwhile and it would possibly bring in a couple of Billion. Meanwhile his uncosted spending is around the 1 Trillion mark. Just to put it into perspective, the national debt currently stands at about 1.7 Trillion.......
