No I’m still not following here at all. What happens when the wind farms etc are built? What happens to the people.

Either your answer is we will sell the wind farms (which seems a bit against nationalisation, but what do I know) or you’ll sell the people who built them.

Either way I think you might have the wrong end of the stick here.
Christ, we'll have specialised technology, skills and product to export. Iirc we were pretty good until a few years ago.

What happened when everyone had a mobile phone? What happened when everyone had a car? Another development or industry comes along. Some has to build spaceports and terraform Mars.

If you are referring to capitalist companies pushing their wares onto consumers who already have a version of said product, you are correct. What makes the world go around.

Thing is, some of what has been touted as a good idea at the conference could make the UK less attractive place for those companies to be based in. Its the conundrum that populist Labour policies can throw up. They are not keen on the folk who can actually deliver what other folk want. They just dress it up as a war on "Greed is Good", which is plain nonsense.

Oh deary me.

To quote your good self

"

No mention of 'what happens to the people' only 'Who's paying these people?'.

After the country and the seas are awash with wind farms those then produced will be sold to those countries in Rees Mogg's/Goves/Johnson's brand new bright tomorrow trade deal. Simple and easy.
...? You’ll notice the initial paragraph starts with jobs, which are filled with people. It’s therefore a logical progression. I’m not sure why you keep being up Brexit like I’m it’s number one supporter, rather than diametrically opposed to it, but whatever.

Will leave it here without a comment on your 'logical progression'

Except we’ll be out of Europe and regrettably our green energy products are light years behind that of our neighbors.
Well, it depends on how we leave the EU, but even the worst case ERG scenario will still permit exports. Solar I'll agree, wind and tidal, I don't think it's the case.

Siemen's would disagree. First rate blades for the wind farms turbines are produced in Hull. Also linked with a new school and training centre.
I'm sure if you speak to the employees you'll hear many horror stories regarding work practices within that site though.

I know mate. The shifts/work practices are a big pain. Until people are prepared to stand up and fight for better work practices then it will continue. In that context McDonell's thing about representation will be a big boost to those working there.

How will British employees be better represented in a German company?
