sadly pete you recognize that he is lying to you, but still believe him anyway

take your Rashford point - Starmer raised that the week before

You have patience, anyone slightest interested in politics and who supposedly are centre of political spectrum would know that a key policy of Starmer in his leadership election was a national strategy for childhood...
Its hard enough reading the Express let alone the regurgitated version of it.

I’ve seen Boxers getting battered at the start who turned it around, and know of wars that also didn’t favour the eventual winners at the beginning. But I actually do agree that Starmer got off to a good start, but ......
I've seen Johnson have one good week. I'm not sure it demonstrates a trend.

Same applies to Starmer for that matter. To me he seems too stylistically like a barrister rather than a politician. He's presenting a argument with decorum, like you would in court, when Johnson is stylistically more reminiscent of a playground show off which translates much better to a packed commons.

Yes, the officials of the LP right wing who openly planned to destabilise the LP under Corbyn even to the point of destroying the chance to beat the Tories in 2017.
Do actually believe Corbyn could and should have far more of the disciplinarian in this period. He has never been the media luvvie, which many of his protagonists were and this should have been played to the maximum. Being indifferent to them was way to passive.

Just as Corbyn, Lansman and co had done previously.

If you are going to punch someone don't cry when they punch you back.

He should have expelled most of the PLP and ran by-elections in the aftermath of the 2017 election. It was the moment when his stock was highest and the LP right wing neo-liberals were dazed and on the run.

Yes he should. And those who toddled off in the end, to well be party of nothing, should have been booted, it was like watching a who done it by Dora the Explorer...

Corbyn and Lansman could not punch themselves out of a paper bag when it came party discipline.
Indecisive or soft, probably too soft that made them indecisive.
To describe them as some sort authoritarian figures. Is like describing Johnson as a moral authority on parenthood and race relations.

They have form in trying to destabilise Labour. Lansman was booted out for it and sent scurrying back to his and Momentums natural home, the Socialist Workers Party/Militant. I suspect that is Dave's natural party also.

Depends how you define destabilising, one thing to move through the machinations of party democracy and entirely different to use your mates in the media to engage in whipsering campaigns, and the latter will blow back in the end...
