What point ? The fact that once again the Tories had to undo the damage of a previous Labour government and turn the country from ‘the sick man of Europe’ , with out of date and ruinous unions, and turn it into a modern economy. Yes, we all went through that pain, and today, having spent ten years undoing the damage from the last Labour government, Employment is at its highest level in history and unemployment at its lowest point in half a century.

Now maybe you can address my question of what did losing an election ever achieve......
 
Honestly, it's no wonder accusations of antisemitism fly. I've just been arguing with a Corbyn supporter who I was initially agreeing with over Johnson's anti-BDS legislation, which is sinister as hell and will undoubtedly lead to mission creep as it has everywhere else.

The guy then comes out with some utter nonsense about it being impossible to boycott Israel anyway as they "own all the worlds money and by default all it's companies".

I called him out on this and he bloody doubled down on it, literally saying "the world is run by a shadowy cabal of Zionists". I told him.why the remark was antisemitic, to which he laughed and said "Yeah right, about as antisemitic as Jeremy Corbyn". Wouldn't have it for a second that anything he'd said was antisemitic and by turn called JC an antisemite without realising it. Utter cretin. These people haven't an 'effin clue and really need driving back down the conspiraloon hole from which they came.

You may be able to talk bollocks to others - doesn't wash with me, pete.

You and I BOTH know that Thatcher's Government set about destroying the industrial base of the UK by going after the dock workers, the miners, the steel industry. As well as working on a 'managed decline' of Liverpool.

And at the drop of a hat you spout the mantra of 'undoing the damage' when in fact the Tories created the damage in the first place. Remember the Tories pay freeze in the early '70s? I do - a deliberate attack on the working class. Just one example.

Undoing the damage - by reducing Police numbers, not funding the NHS exponentially, making a total pig's-ear of the Prison service. Don't make me laugh. You can't con me, mate, with your glib Tory phrases. It's a load of bullcrap, and well you know it.

Sorry pete, you and your arrogant, gloating, kind make me sick when you try to re-write the history of this country...

I don't remember a Tory pay freeze in the early 70's. I do remember the Labour one in the mid-70's though.

I’ve said this a few times on here. Corbyn had an appeal to tin foil hatters. Not exclusively, but seemed to draw in the conspiracy theorist/David Icke crowd in quite well.

I almost guarantee if you dig down into it a lot of the Labour ‘antisemitism’ would have come from that particularly small but very vocal part.
