I would suggest that Starmer can at least construct an argument and can debate. Long-Bailey and Rayner just appear to state the policy line and are completely at sea on any follow-up query. Both are way out of their depth at the moment and considering them as leadership is just laughable at the moment. Maybe in 10 years.

I really like Angela Rayner, but agree it'd be too soon for her.

She'd expose the real ugliness at the heart of the establishment though, with her accent and background. They wouldn't be able to help themselves.

Ha Ha Ha.

I sense your fear for your Tory lead over the next couple of weeks.

They are done. Demographically finished. This election they are being lent a vote and I doubt they will even muster a 2005 Labour size win. 14% in the European elections once Brexit was not at their behest, thats the future for them once Brexit is resolved one way or another.

Unfortunately Farage collapsing his party has many the votes won't even stay amongst a right wing stable. They'll filter off into don't knows and some to the Lib Dems.

That 14% is the future though. Britain's most humorous relic.

Happens both ways. Toxic environment that both sides need to take responsibility for.

Have Labour attacked any pensioners or told anyone to go back to a "white" country?

This is very much a one way problem, but it's treated as a 2 way problem to avoid having to deal with the toxicity of the Conservative Party and what they are doing.

Labour are fine Pete. The Conservatives are finished moving forwards though, demography is killing them and I suspect after this election it will be over 35 + years since they won anything approaching a meaningful majority.

I think they will have quite a decent working majority of 40-60.....

People shouldn't think what the polls say now count for anything. May believed door step polls before calling for an election and never achieved a majority that was forecast by the so called Inteligencia. Labour must show how their spending plans add up, so far Johnson and his Eaton cronies haven't done a thing other than to offer more tree planting to match the rest.

....they are but they’re really missing a trick not focusing on the state of NHS, Child Poverty, Social Care et al. These should be rammed into every interview, every party political programme. The Tory’s get their key messages over.
They've only got one message : Get Brexit done, and even that's a lie.

They've been absolutely done up like a kipper by the Tories, the Chief Rabbi and the BBC today. Wonder what Andrew Neil will go at Corbyn with? Hmmmm.

Anyone who doesn't think there's co-ordination between at least the first two at the very least if not the third needs their head looking at.
