Problem is that if you put Jeremy Corbyn's name to the policies those colours get reversed. But the policies in isolation are indeed popular - think the polling companies have done that experiment a couple of times.
If you propose spending someone else's money on benefits for yourself, you usually get a good deal of support.
Majority of degrees mentioned there teach people to think critically, to be able to understand context and create an argument backed up by theory or quantitative data to create new avenues of research and understanding. It’s lazy and ignorant to say they mean nothing to no one.

I'm still wondering where you might take queer studies. Apart from 1950 obviously.
I found doing a PhD in biology to be queer, in the 1950s sense.
According to Wiki there are at least 5 institutions in the States which offer degrees in Queer Studies. I'm assuming the name is at least in part due to the LGBT community trying to reclaim the word "queer" and normalise it.

....totally expected that Corbyn would be a millstone for Labour, totally being realised. Clueless party and members who will blame it on the media and dirty Tory tactics and continue in the same vein. The fundamental problem with Labour is Labour.

The problem is that there's such a massive lead to eat into in the first place.
