It was a shambles, playing to the room and as Bruce said, more fitting for the pub....he’s still head a shoulders above Corbyn.....

it wasn’t fitting for the pub was it? Because if so you are definitely okay with Johnson saying one thing in public and another in private. This isn’t to do with Corbyn, either.

...now we’re in agreement.

Johnson and his followers are all about power. Power at any cost. It’s honestly why I think this Tory Party are a very dangerous proposition.

I have said many times on here over the years that I have socialist belief, but that I understand that it requires a thriving economy to deliver those benefits to those that need a helping hand. Corbyn will have all the best of intentions but will spend and destroy the money generators. It’s more practical to vote for Boris and demand more support for the poor...which is where we shall probably disagree again.....

pete, are you Joey's multi?

20 months later after the incident it ends up in the news.

Very dodgy.

Keeping it in the back pocket until they are ready to throw in the hand grenade when it will cause most damage. That said I think people have made up their minds by now and won't change them unless something really big blows up.

Thats what the answer would usually be, but there were loads of witnesses according to the report. Even Dan Hodges couldn't find anyone to corroborate it.

If it isn't true and they keep fabricating stories then eventually it will be to their detriment if it's proven to be lies. No one will believe them in future and they won't be able to try and influence voters.

And then we vote for Brexit, but liberal centrists still have no idea why nobody trusts or listens to them anymore.

I am not sure that anyone has any reason to believe that given who the journalist was, who he used to work for and the general state of political journalism in the UK anyway.

...you lost me, Peter, when you said the Private Sector pays for the Public Sector and the NHS, Police and public services could be privatised if needs be. Services are Services. They provide a service, they should not be profit orientated.

Imagine privatising the police and giving your card no in when you’re getting burgled. We’ve seen issues with the prison service when the facilitators run it for profit, fewer outlay on staff to ensure profit on contracts. ’Service’ is about providing a ‘service’, it’s not about profit.
