Surely the shadow Secretaries for Scotland and Wales must be from those countries? Mind you, the current crop of Labour MPs from Wales are a singularly talentless lot.

That probably goes without saying, but there are no others. It's a heavily English shadow cabinet, and a heavily London-centric one at that. The Tories are no better (and largely a lot worse in their English-centricity), but still.

@Joey66 have you hacked Bruce's account? This is some of that easily disproveable stuff of yours.

(there are at least two Welsh MPs, from Welsh constituencies, in the Shadow Cabinet - Nia Griffith (Defence) and Christina Rees (Wales). Lesley Laird is Scottish and the Shadow Minister for Scotland as well)
? been told to keep of here nicely so it can't be me....... lol

None from Scotland or Wales.
However, plenty from outside the North London boroughs, your point! Which no doubt was your well researched point of view!?

Scotland is on a path of independence with devolution which is undeniable and incidentally was ignited by a Labour Government, but in doing so made Labour irrelevant, doing so put Scotland first.

And Wales in the last election, Welsh Labour increased its majorities an unprecedented achievement for a sitting government of 10 years plus.

Brexit may have Pete Joey et al. Centrism have the likes of yourself, equally glib with amoral double speak, it's exactly why we the UK finds itself in its current situation.

Citing the ministers for Scotland and Wales is hardly disproving the point, is it? Chancellor - London, Home Secretary - London, Foreign Secretary - London, Brexit Secretary - London. The four top jobs are within spitting distance of Corbyn's front door.

Hayes and Harlington is within spitting distance of Islington? Also, you said there were no Welsh or Scottish MPs in the Shadow Cabinet.

The point is a daft one, though. Where someone's constituency isnt indicative of what their beliefs are, as the former MPs for Sedgefield and Hartlepool would suggest.

If you're good at spitting like.

lol Seriously though, there is a reason Labour has lost its stronghold in Scotland. You can ignore it if you like though.
In many area of Scotland Labour are in fourth place behind SNP, Torys and Lib Dem, with Lib Dem attracting disaffected SNP andTory voters as well as ex Labour voters voting tactically. Nicola Sturgeon, Ruth Davidson and Willie Rennie are well recognised as respective leaders of their party whereas Labour leader Richard Leonard is still relatively unknown by the general public.

Macdonnel looking at a new grab inheritance tax - not a vote winner - it's pathetic it goes back over a lifetime of a parent helping a child out - do Labour not want power ever again? .........
Utter rubbish George Harrison's song Taxman springs to mind .......

Where do you think it should be?

I’d be interested in the views of our resident lefties on this........
