I see the continuity Blairites have been flexing their muscles again:

If Starmer wants to have a second term, wants to be a good PM then he has to boot those snakes into the sea. They are the people who both screw up and blame him for the screwups, the political experts who are only experts in defeat.

Which snakes need booting tsubaki - McSweeney or Cooper or both?
McSweeney was head of strategy that resulted in a landslide majority after polling 3 million votes less than Corbyn - could accurately call that an expert in victory, not defeat.

Looks like labour have screwed the Astazenica 450m investment in speke. Not a good sign for growing the economy if they're scuppering deals that were already in place.
Over the road from the Ma in Laws, Evans medical as was, Bro in law started there after leaving 6th form, worked his way up to be a big cheese in Glaxo. Number 1 son even worked there for 2 summers while at Uni.

This customs deal with the EU is going to need handling like a chess grand master. the reform tosspots and their moron supporters (remember them, edl, bnp, britain first, those crap soaked arse wipes) are waiting for the merest hint of undoing any part of brexit so they can shout from the rafters about it having failed because it wasn't implemented 'properly'*. Not that it was a failed idea before it started, or that it was managed in the worst most cack handed manner in memory. It'll be all labours fault and the media machine with fan those flames.

Be nice if the initial deal by the tories was laid bare side by side with the renegotiated one by labour.

On their knees right now kissing Trumps arse to avoid tariffs.

What a shower of cowards.
What does he do then? Rock the economy whilst it's still fragile just to act a hard man? Gad handling Trump isn't the stick I'd beat Starmer with.

It doesn't really matter to Dave, because even if Starmer was expelling the new US ambassador via a boot to the backside, slapping 100% tariffs on MAGA hats and standing on the tip of Cornwall with a sign reading "Up Yours Trump" then our resident 'kin ratcatcher would just be laying into him for risking the economy and national security in these febrile times.
