The public think they have a right to know everything, immediately, with 100% accuracy.

Any withheld or incorrect information in a breaking, changing, uncertain news story is treated conspiratorially.

It’s like we’ve collectively forgotten about due process, not jeopardising trials, ensuring that convictions are safe and resist easy appeals.

When the London Bridge attack happened, would people have been justified to attack Met and City cops over it? Would they have been justified in smashing up an Eastern Orthodox Church over it?

A lad I’ve known for years and play a bit of golf with sometimes put this and other right wing crap on a WhatsApp group we are in yesterday.

I’m supposed to be going away with him in April to Portugal for a bit of golf and I’m cancelling going today.

Done the same with fishing, rampant this attitude. Although would suggest it's easier to go solo with fishing than golf. However, It's essentially ended me sea boat angling.

Every single lad I drink with who is on the cabs, seems to be like this too and they`re all carp fishermen

They`re absolutely sound lads until they eventually get around to immigration etc.
