Are you wanting the Tory’s back Dave? Or are you now really revealing your true colours as a Reform Party fan?

Imagine the utter shame of anyone who "lent their vote" to either man's party last year.

Amusing as all this is, it's not really a productive use of discussion space.

Maybe we need an alehouse thread called 'Bicker with Davek over whatever contrarian stance he's taking on a given issue today".

Keep it all in one place?
I asked a simple question I feel.

Which of the 2 right wing parties does he want running the country instead of the current government, as those realistically would be the main two contenders, despite the Lib Dem’s comfortably finishing with more seats than Reform.

I can’t honestly imagine why he’s dodging the question.

Physicists will write books about the people lost inside the gravity field of such a gargantuan mass.

Doesn't that depend entirely on getting Dave's buy-in on the plan? Little point everyone waiting on him in the appropriate thread if he's just going to continue to barf his half-baked opinions across the usual CA topics.

Other than that minor niggle I'm in favour, it would leave some of these more weighty subjects free of distraction whilst the grown ups among us put the world to rights. Or lefts.

I think that's a technical question for the mods. If, by the miracles of modern technology, every post contributed by a user could be funnelled into a specific thread, we'd be laughing.

Comrade, these men—these terrible ferrets—gnaw at the soul of the world, as if driven by some perverse instinct to destroy all that binds us together. They scurry in shadows, their beady eyes glinting with malice, tearing at the threads of decency with sharp, unrelenting teeth. There is something almost absurd, yet profoundly tragic, in their smallness, their pettiness—creatures born not to build, but to burrow and dismantle.

Comrades, I implore you to acknowledge, with the appropriate measure of recognition and respect, the deliberate and painstaking effort I have undertaken to draw from a source of far greater repute and credibility in shaping the stylistic foundation for ChatGPT. This endeavor stands in stark contrast to the regrettable and lamentable atrocity previously invoked.

It is not merely a matter of personal pride but a fundamental duty to ensure that the intellectual tools we wield are derived from a wellspring of integrity, refinement, and excellence. To allow anything less would be a disservice to the collective pursuit of elevated discourse and the high standards to which we must hold ourselves accountable.

Thus, I request—not out of vanity, but in the spirit of truth and justice—that you credit me with having the foresight, discernment, and commitment to seek out and employ a source that exemplifies the ideals of clarity, rigor, and stylistic sophistication, all of which stand as a testament to our shared commitment to progress and enlightenment.

Let this acknowledgment serve as a reminder of the value of striving for the higher path, and of the undeniable merit in rejecting mediocrity in favor of that which uplifts and inspires.

“The NHS has warned people not to go out early in the morning or late at night as the country braces for three days of snow.

It has also urged people to stock up on food and medication amid warnings over the risks to health as temperatures plummet over the next week.

In the West Midlands, the NHS Black Country integrated care board warned of the dangers of slips, trips and falls.

“Avoid going out early in the morning when frost is thick or late at night when it’s dark,” it said, adding that people should wear shoes with good grip and keep their hands free to stabilise themselves.

In Herefordshire, the Wye Valley NHS Trust told people to “make sure you have sufficient food and medicine and take measures to reduce draughts in your home”. George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, in Nuneaton, issued the same advice.

The alert, in force from midday on Thursday until next Wednesday warns of a rise in deaths among people aged 65 and over or with health conditions. Younger age groups could also be affected, with a “likely increase” in demand for health services.

The agency has warned the vulnerable will be put at risk as it becomes difficult to keep homes at 18C (64F) with sub-zero temperatures outside. Temperatures in hospitals and care homes will fall below recommended levels, while transport is also likely to suffer.”

….at least the pensioners will have their government WFA to enable them to leave the heating on…Oh no, wait, our man on holiday in Madeira has done away with it……
