There is, on occasion, high quality articles and analysis from a perspective you won't find in, say, the Guardian.

But as you say, it's a shrill knee jerk organ catering for the crackpots who make up the Tory Membership. The comments section on most articles is usually utterly vile.

Certainly wouldn't pay for it, blag access via work.

Both of my parents are life long readers, so it’s always been the paper I’ve been brought up around.

Maybe it’s just my awareness has increased as I’ve got older, but I never remember it being this right wing.

Some of it is proper down the rabbit hole stuff.

The video showed the MP for Runcorn and Helsby punching a man, who fell to the floor. Mr Amesbury then hit him repeatedly before members of the public intervened.

One way to connect with the electorate. The rumour is the bloke he had punched is his stalker of 2 years, i suppose that will all be established. Anyway good to see action has been taken and due process can get on and deal with matter. Rather than days of speculating in the papers of how downing street and Labour party will respond.
