The thing is, if you posted photos of yourself with people of different races, one would be washing your car, the other would be serving you food and one would be laundering your Hitler pyjamas.

Plot twist* they would all be doing so by legally entering the country,
A: Buying a plane ticket
B: Proof of accomodation
C: Applying for a visa
D: Company sponsorship

Now, If I need to do all of these things to either move to a country myself...or hire others...why is it fair that I see people pushing for open borders and free movement?

If you compare and contrast 2 small Islands in Singapore and the UK then look at the difference.

*If anyone can simply go to any country that country loses their culture. I wouldnt fancy going to Japan and seeing millions of English criminals, sex tourists and suchlike. I'm there to make a life for myself within the rules of that country and do my upmost to improve the place and peoples lives there.

Weird im not able to quote your other post.

The 'houses' you are linking are not 'nice' areas and certainly not places to live in Manila -- just on random streets as well.

In Manila anyone from the middle class lives in condos or private villages. Not on the street.

Villages here have gated security.

Also try the actual centre of town which would be the following:

Bel Air Village Makati
San Lorenzo Village Makati
Urdaneta Village Makati
Dasmarinas Village Makati / BGC
Forbes Park Makati / BGC

Probably the cheapest is San Miguel Village for a small house, i guess about £1mil thesedays for the smallest lot and a very old house.

Outside of this area you also have:

Ayala Alabang Village
White Plains
Valle Verde
Corinthian Gardens
Ayala Heights

...and many many more locations where the further you go out of town, the cheaper it is.

No idea on Thai house prices but i expect they will be very expensive due to the THB being strong at the moment.

I'm guessing this is a nice area as it's opposite a 5 star hotel, it's also a 4 bedroom penthouse condo and it's price is 60% of what you said a two bedroom condo costs

This is a nice area called BGC in Manila.

This particular location is indeed very convenient as you have a Japanese mall, Filipino Mall and Grand Hyatt nearby. Loads of restaurants -- loads and loads of call centres nearby e.g JP Morgan are a short walk away.

The condo turned over 6/7 years ago and isnt very good quality (built by megaworld). When i last looked, 2beds here were around $500k for 80sqm ish. Plenty of units for sale and open for rent which tells you something...

...also the developer has been unable to sell either of the PH units as you can see + is offering rent to own terms (not usual in a rapidly increasing property market) showing it is unsellable.

Compare this to a condo on the other side (the nicer side) of BGC such as:

The Aurelia
Horizon homes
The suites
East/West Gallery Place
+ many more

The issue i have in BGC area is the traffic. It is an artificial 'city' built on reclaimed land and on a fault line. Just not personally a fan of it.

Check out:
Two Roxas
Raffles Residences
Discovery Primea
The Estate
Eluria

For the best area here. Or Edades West + Balmori for a private gated condo community

Very different lifestyle out here.

Sounds hideous, about as cultural as a dogs cock
