Seem to recall there being one or two skirmishes in Afghanistan too. Maybe the Saudi girls wouldn't have been gay had they met Zat, but alas, they were. I'll tell them to look scared in photos in future though.

Over here an influx of migrants from relatively rich countries have played a part in raising rent and property prices. (myself included) There is growing resentment from the locals as rental prices have pretty much tripled in 5 years whereas average wages remain poor.

Still feel profiteering landlords and European/ North American migrants get it easy though.

Was speaking to an Afghan lad I work with and he was blaming the crazy rent prices on Indian and Pakistani migrants coming in. (he was airlifted out of Kabul btw). In truth it has very little to do with them but folk are all to happy to point the finger that way.

Probably should have expanded a bit there. A large part is due to govt. policy on tax (income and corporation), very low compared to elsewhere which means less investment more widely. Not to mention tons of alleged corruption.

So yes, for business types it's an opportunity of course, but it probably says much about their moral and ethical code.

What kind of person would do that, I am not sure.

But the point he believes in 'free movement' is something i massively disagree with -- that is a different topic than REAL victims of war and suchlike.

Under this labour government i would expect the illegal entry will continue.

While looking at Germany jumping on the Rwanda plan & Poland taking a proud stance while growing their economy.
