Lower approval rating than old people killer, multiple serial liar and PM who decided not to feed hungry kids during lockdown and took more donations and freebies than anybody.

That’s the stupidity of the British public for you I’m afraid.

Sounds like you agree with that too.
Yep, for me that just confirms the type of person who lives in the UK.

Just over 100 days in. 4 and 3/4 years away is a bit of a long way off.

I asked for the truth, just how smashed up is the country after 14 years of dereliction and spite.

They're depressing because they won't tell lies, there are no brexit payoffs, there is no 'boat person' boogieman to blame, it's not that there is no money - the credit card has been blitzed and cut off.

Worthless trade deals other places saw truss coming, she needed a win and they weren't giving. This is the problem with letting the stupid have charge of something so important.

The architects of this crap-show have all bailed out, they need holding to account. You wouldn't freeze some turnips and cauliflowers if you then got to Sandy Koufax a few into boris' big fat stupid face?

Accountability and responsibility. It's time.

If you expect truth, accountability and responsibility from this, or any government then you’re in for a world of disappointment.

They played the game to get into power, they’ll play the game when they’re in power.

It’s how it is in this country.

Things can change for the better. This Labour Party will only do so much before they make sure the status quo is kept in tact and we’ll keep circling the drain.

Then bring on the drain and let's get to it.

I can't understand why they didn't simply make it taxable.

What is staggering is that Starmer and Reeves knew they would win the election, we all did, and then they come up with a half baked change without really thinking it through. It was never going to raise anything like the proposed savings.Taxing it would have been the simplest and most effective way of doing it without giving millions of pensioners additional worry...shambles, absolute shambles……..

It’s not all pensioners though. You sound like you just regurgitate the daily mail mate.
If you can afford the heating like the rest of us pay it, if not there is help for you.

With age I have come to realise that democracy is both the fairest method of govt but also probably to most dangerous.
You can only look at 5 year plans.
You game the system by having the worse things early on and then becoming Santa clause in later budgets.
It’s all smoke and mirrors who ever is in power.
You have to hope that the smoke and mirrors are deployed better by your team though

Yes.

Short-termism and lack of consensus is a pox on this country.

Another of good old Maggie's legacies.

Big day for the Starmer Gang - they have to make sure they get down real low to kiss the arse of billionaires to get investment.

They'll announce a massive deregulation exercise with rules over 'binning red tape'...very Cameronian; then they'll take the potential investors (including the Macquarie Group, the biggest investors in Thames Water) to a party hosted by King Charles.

Socialism in action.
