Sorry, are you trumpeting the fact that 45,000 pensioners can now get pension credit and that offsets the millions of pensioners now denied the winter fuel payment each year from now on?

You're clearly just spinning for Red Tory.

"To each according to their need". I'm happy to see millionaire pensioners stripped of an allowance they don't need so that even more money can go to those actually facing poverty & hardship.

Must tear you up inside to see the Starmer Gang sticking to the socialist principles you're happy to abandon any time a political chancer miaows about Gaza at you on TV.

You know nothing of socialism.

Yes because those 45000 would be the poorest of pensioners despite receiving winter fuel benefits they were missing out on hundreds of pounds maybe couple of thousand every year. If you are including my mother and her mates in those millions of pensionaries missing out, despite their constatation, myself being an expert in mothers monies and well versed in her friends finances, they really don't need its just they going to miss it.

Not sure you do to be fair. Taking issue with 45000 of the poorest pensioners most likely the most vulnerable due to education or poor health now getting the monies they always deserved. Yet defending Millions of pensioners many using this Winter Fuel Allowance for leisure pursuits. I mean come on, that's the purest form of Champagne Socialism your peddling. Think your hate for what you term "Red Tory" has blinded you to any essence of logic. You have ground on the gifting, however, lets not pretend this is just Labour Tory Liberal Dem, some of the most socialist MPs we have had huge gifts...

You're peddling divide and rule policy. That's how much you know about socialism.

You're in the business of defending neo-liberalism. The former 'Labour' Party are neo-liberal. Their policies are in place to protect the ruling class. Handcuffed themselves to the City of London finance houses and fossil fuel companies.

They're about as 'socialist' or 'progressive' as Farage.

To be fair its you ignoring the 45000 pensioners needs that have come forward to claim Pension Credit which are likely the most disenfranchised and thats exactly the people who we all should be supporting with our taxes. Its you wanting protect all pensioners despite their financial wealth at expense of the poorest.

Not a case of defending just acceptance for the greater good and quite revolution is the way to go. Going to take decades to wean ourselves of "neo liberalism" there is enough with what Labour are doing to suggest there is movement in UK being more equitable. No other way but to inch our way to the left. Otherwise we end up with Socialist equivalence of Lizz Truss moment. Getting from A to Z is nice, what happens in-between matters more.

Thankfully we have 4 years and 8 months before we have to start worrying about the disgusting Reform or the broken Tory’s even coming close to coming back in power.

That gives this government plenty of time to right any wrongs they make or have already made.

The majority of people I see going ballistic at this point are mainly full on, hate filled mentalists who would never vote Labour anyway.

You know what they say about empty vessels making most noise.

...well, I dont see any commitment to stop taking their hospitality bungs yet.

As you say though: they do have 4 years and 8 months to commit to stamp out that corruption.

It’s not corruption.

You are chatting like one of those mentalists I mentioned earlier.

It’s always existed. It’s now only a “thing” because the right wing media are in meltdown and people like you are keeping it going for them.

Corruption has always existed in UK politics? Yes, I know.

But what you're failing to grasp here is that Red Tory were basing their whole pitch for government on coming in to clean the cesspit up...but they were and still are adding to it.

This wont go away.
