Swapping austerity for austerity is no option at all.
Remember Reid playing on vs Bayern with that injury?

The opposition have nobbled the situation. We limp on until the fiasco of finance is addressed. I'd keep your powder dry for the budget, you'll make merry hell that day. Even I can tell it's on the cards, and I'm an infamous idiot.

It's all about growth you see.

Everyone knows that to get investment you have to have a scorched earth policy first...

I suppose you could make an argument that one might actually apply the principles in a more targetted fashion. Based upon means testing.

So the needs of the most vulnerable are protected but savings are made elsewhere.

But, as I've stated in here, the practicality of that is difficult because there is no state to cushion the fall when safety nets are removed.

I've seen what their targeting has done already in winter fuel payments to pensioners.

This lot won't be getting any benefit of the doubt form me.

They are utterly repugnant and the creatures of big business.

They wouldn't have got the benefit of doubt from you regardless of what they did. Their policies aren't aimed at you. They're targetted at centrists.

Do fear Labour are not grasping that NHS and Social Care, different budget but is essentially the same journey of care for majority of people in particular older age. No social care support at home your not getting discharged from NHS.

Can we circle back to this real quick? Was there a policy announcement they slipped under everybody's radar?

No. That’s the point.

Unlimited porn available to anyone with an internet-connected device, free and no need to prove your age. It should’ve been clamped down on years ago, but governments don’t care about what our children are exposed to.

I don't think that's true at all.

Just off the top of my head:

Online safety Act
Video recordings Act
Terrorism Act 2006
The communications act

The digital services act (EU)

What you've written seems like an over simplification of an issue which needs to balance protection of everyone online vs the need to ensure privacy and not apply legislation which may be well intended but have adverse consequences in its application.

Often these laws are contested by "free speech absolutists" and those who own the platforms who deliberately blur the lines between 'legal but harmful' because they recognise that It generates interest and subsequently, revenue.
