4 days on 8 days off was the shift pattern at my last place of work. Granted you worked 96 hours in 4 days but the time off was great.

You develop a mindset, where you say to yourself " when I`m working on these days, all I`ll be doing is working and sleeping, but that long period off afterwards makes it worth it ".

Probably like you, I`d get up have a shower and go into work, come home, rinse and repeat.

Sadly, it didn`t suit the bosses, as they hated people having a week off all the time and it didn`t last for long.

Oh look another one who doesn’t understand the difficulty many pensioners have using the internet….

“ Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall said: 'Thousands of pensioners are missing out on pension credit worth on average £3,900 per year.

'That needs to change. It's easier than ever to check if you are eligible, including with our online calculator, and if your circumstances have changed since the last time you looked – I urge you to check again.”

“A minister was left wriggling today as she denied the mooted ban on smoking in pub beer gardens is an 'attack on the hospitality industry'.

Commons Leader Lucy Powell was grilled over the proposals as she toured broadcast studios ahead of Parliament returning from its summer break tomorrow.

The industry has warned that the surprise move to extend restrictions to outdoor areas such as beer gardens and outside stadiums could devastate businesses.

Some have estimated that one in eight pubs could be forced to shut as a result.

Ms Powell told Sky News' Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips that any measures would be subject to a full consultation.

'We're certainly not attacking the hospitality industry. We support the hospitality industry. It's vital to our communities, our high street, our economy,' she said.”…

They don’t even realise the lies they are telling. Yes the hospitality is indeed vital, but they certainly are attacking the industry……

It’s designed to be that way. To be as difficult as possible for the people who need it.

Internet has been around for over 30 years in mainstream and readily available for most. I’m not so sure people can still use the excuse of not being able to use it, when they’ve had time to learn and/or will have family members/friends that could assist them.

Pensioners being too lazy to learn a new skill should not be used as an excuse, as to why they aren’t claiming what they are entitled to.
