He paid 6% like me but his final salary pension which has been changed now does not apply to him if it was a civil service pension they did not pay a penny into one in the 1970s ... he will be on 3/80s of his final salary with a massive lump sum to boot ....

He did not need 60 grand off an ex Tory donor for suits FGS ....

I would go back part-time to pass my Horticultural skills on, practically that is propagation I could not stand to watch football today , so I put in with my wife's help over 100 osteospermum cuttings - autumn is setting in time to cut hedges too - My wife & son will do that for me - get the growth back before winter -

I was lucky - I was trained properly at work & at technical college - it's University nowadays = a massive debt...... & not a University of life ....

I have seen him occasionally on Gardeners World about his plant hunting, I met him at Myerscough college told me to go on for a diploma - I met him at my peat free conference workshop - a great guy ....
