I expect all politicians to act with intergrity and honesty, none of them should be getting backhanders.

A bunch of well meaning people turning up wouldn't have done much at all.

Every payment from a union has to be shown .
The political fund has to be voted on by the members every few years as well.
It's payed to mps who have the unions interest at heart
The RMT isn't affiliated to the Labour party because the members voted in favour of not doing it, not some faceless union boss.
It was after they had given funds to new Labour who said they would bring the rail back under one roof only to backtrack once in office, Prescott had been funded and a flat in London provided by the union for that aim, the union eventually had to take legal action to get him and later his family member to evict the premises.
We are voting soon to see if we want to carry on paying are political fund .
All very open to scrutiny, not something you could say about tory funding to mps from various pressures groups or individuals.

All I'm doing is showing you what a government looks like when its right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

They made a big deal out of freeing prisoners and reducing bottle necks in the justice system; then the riots happened and they went all Judge Dredd demanding judges hand down draconian sentences to rioters, then a week or so later want those same rioters released on bail because they forgot they wanted to reduce over crowding in prisons.

This is government by focus group. It's what happens when the leaders of that government haven't got any real convictions or ideology and just change tack in order to try and appear in control.

They're all over the place on this.
