No mate. The rest are simply reporting on the daily cockups emanating from that party.

The media you mentioned are trying to pretend it isn't happening.

No media needs to be yelling 'vote labour' - nor are they.

Big difference to how you describe it. But you...and your little agenda...you little tyke.
The category of those not voting Labour this GE must be small.

Cons, Reform racist sorts, and the shouty disciples of Corbyn. SNP nationalists too.

Starmer to answer questions today at a S*n organised Q&A session with S*n readers.

Another disgraceful slap in the face of people murdered at a football match and then dishonoured by that newspaper.

No doubt this will be met with "well I don't vote for Starmer I;ll be voting for the party".

When will those that say that start condemning him?

If someone on this forum even gave a link to that paper they'd be vilified and rightly so. But Starmer gets a free pass from such people.

Because readers of the rag have the same number of votes as you or I. It's like you don't understand democracy in the slightest. There are people out there who are looking like they'll vote for Reform as well, and if Labour get in they'll have to govern for those people just as much as the rest of us. For a man of such advanced years, you can be incredibly childlike Dave.

personally have no particular issue if he gives an interview to that publication or many of the other toxic publications out there. The issue is more do to with the fact that he said he wouldn’t in order to get elected as Labour leader with no intention of keeping the promise.

Didn't he say he wouldn't talk to them during the course of the leadership campaign? That's surely a different issue as, one might assume that fewer Labour supporters read the rag than other types of voter, so he can justifiably make such a call when talking to the church. When he's talking to a wider audience though, you can't ignore one of the most influential platforms in the country.

True enough. would still argue he was making a fairly duplicitous populist statement to gain support.

"This city has been wounded by the media... I certainly won't be giving an interview to the Sun during the course of this campaign."

For what it’s worth I don’t have a particular problem with him doing interviews or whatever with the sun.

I reckon that paper might officially back Starmer.

Proper heel turn so they can claim victory and never losing an election.

I wouldn't expect people like you to understand.

Whether they back him or not, if Starmer does win big he’s got to take the opportunity to deal with press malpractice and criminality.
As well as Hillsborough NHS Blood Scandal Grenfell disaster Post Office Scandal . Not just Civil servants, but Police NHS staff Local Authority/ Housing Associations workers and Ministers such as Ed Davey with post office. As well as those within those Private companies involved. All been caught at it just looking after themselves.

Windrush scandal*
PPE scandals*
Lockdown parties scandals*

Just to address the scandals is a parliaments worth of work. Then it turns out the interest on the debt of the country is threatening to spiral and bankrupt the place.

Tory slime, the party of fiscal responsibility indeed.

Sorting the Press out would help with those too, and whatever’s going on now / in the future.

Most of those scandals wouldn’t play out like they did if there was someone shining a torch on them early on.
