Why should people believe that retweet of RT nonsense is the actual reason?
I mean, the other tweets mentioned are the same sort of things as people have been expelled, disciplined or stood down as candidates for in his Labour Party. The first one (that many allegations of AS were drummed up to attack rivals) is exactly the same as why Corbyn was suspended.

Even the dogs in the street knew what was going on in the campaign to undermine and then remove Corbyn. Anybody who couldn’t see that wasn’t looking. If you’re in the Labour Party you’ve got to maintain the lie that what we know happened didn’t actually happen. That’s why I’m not in the Labour Party, I like to speak the truth from time to time.

In today's world stating a neutral comment on social media about the war in Ukraine is tantamount to posting a love letter to Putin.
It wasn’t about the war in Ukraine. He posted an RT article implying that the novichok attack in Salisbury wasn’t committed by Russia.

I was just highlighting the similarities between today and the Corbyn anti-Semitism witch hunt. Odd that RT was long pulled from mainstream TV. It's as if we can't watch and decide ourselves what is propaganda and what is fact.

I'm just aware of how ill-equipped the average human brain is to deal with the modern flood of misinformation, especially when it's targeted via algorithm to those most primed to believe it, and perhaps even more especially when it's shared via online friendship groups (and so has a level of inherent 'trust' baked in) or spread on social media where the misinformation consumer feels they have some sort of relationship to the content creator, with the same effect.
I do sometimes have some hope that people in general have the capacity to deal with this stuff, but then I see one of your posts and I'm reminded that's probably not the case.

I'm guessing your not shaving yet. Thinking for yourself isn't difficult,if you aren't able to blaming it on algorithms seems to be the young generation's get out clause. But if you're happy with the government of the day selecting your sources of information,on you go.

Yeah, only young people fall for misinformation because they can’t think for themselves. It was definitely the young people not thinking for themselves that gave us Brexit, not loads of older people voting due to an immense wave of misinformation and lies.
