'Kin sell out.

Said it for a while, the problem for a breakout more left leaning party is cajoling the unions away if they think Labour are the best bet for influence.

I actually do think we need that, btw. The Tories have gone full right wing, Labour pretty much sit in the centre right position and there's little in the way of a viable centre left party (the greens just get ignored).
Maybe the new school of thought, that the old right and left no longer represent our society is true.

Why are people using Keith to be disrespectful towards Starmer, when his middle name is literally Rodney? Talk about missing an open goal...
The current incarnation of Tory party and far left miss open goals you say...
Nearly 200 years ago, what point was he making ?…..
Henry 8th clauses? BREXIT state aid changes was literally done on the back of 400 year old laws. Johnson(numbty) was warned the of the precedents he was setting.

Labour has played a blinder, don't thinnk anyone thought the week just gone eveyone would be talking about Anderson Truss and Braverman and the hate concealed in the Tory party for Muslims. Certainly flushed the Tories out "ceasfire".

I think we will get one eventually

The younger generation are apparently more likely to stay left rather than going more right as they age. Eventually they're going to want a party to represent them

I'm very unenthused by this current Labour Party, BUT if it's them or the Tories then I don't think it's much of a choice, especially when you see how bad the Tories are getting and continue to get

Right now Labour is a bandage on a wound, whilst the Tories are the infection that will kill off the patient

Fwiw the opening bit was a tribute to @davek. It's what he would have wanted.

Tories love the personality angle of politicians, started with "Boris". Aimed at those the love island and celebrity get me out of here viewer type vote.
