Cry me a river Tory enablers.
since we're throwing ridiculous insults, no baby-killer enabler
Really because a non partisan balanced way to describe what happened yesterday would be this, isn't a good look for the "Mother of all Parliaments" - that a room of supposed grown and mature adults could behave this way by descending into petty politicking, and all sides bear some responsibility for this shambles. You may play or actually be serious with yourselves either way its not my business, but your not kidding me which is essentially faux outrage. You are talking absolute nonsense here lad

The basic argument, archaic Parliamentary convention aside, was for Israeli to;
(SNP) Stop now.
(Labour) Stop without actually stopping.
(Tories) Have a break then carry on.
Hoyle's always been an unfit Speaker. Always. Just because this time he's been bullied by Labour makes no difference, except that for me, the current Labour party stoops even lower with a disregard for convention in order to further its own dubious ends. That irks me as much as every time that the scum have done it.I feel sorry for Hoyle, he always seemed an honest and honourable person. He still is, but allowing Starmer to pull a stunt like that and effectively being bullied is not what is needed from a Speaker. I fear he will be put under massive pressure to resign. Parliament just went the same way as our trident missile heaping more embarrassment onto the U.K……
Hoyle won't be missed, what a hill to die on. Bit late in the day to find some courage. I would hope he would be replaced after the next election anyway.Hoyle's always been an unfit Speaker. Always. Looks like Hoyle was given credible evidence of death threats to MPs hence is action yesterday. Oh dear oh dear fancy jumping on this for political games.

From The Guardian Live Blog:
Hoyle apologises to SNP, offers to let them hold emergency debate, but defends wanting to protect MPs
Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the speaker, is responding to Flynn.
He says he made a judgment call that did not end up where he expected. He regrets it. He apologises to the SNP. He has made a mistake. He says he will allow an emergency debate under standing order 24 on this.
He will defend all MPs, he says.
He says he never ever wants to pick up a folder to pick up a note about an MP being murdered.
He says he has been shown material that is “absolutely frightening” about the threats to MPs.
And if his mistake is to look after MPs, he is guilty. He has a duty to protect people, he says.
All MPs are at risk, he says. He had serious meetings with the police yesterday. Heading into the election, there are threats.
He repeats the point that he is offering an SO24 debate.
It’s my honest reflection.Just not honest reflection.
