If her defence team have the impertinence to suggest in mitigation that it wasn't anything but premeditated, then I expect the judge to throw the book at her.Nah, there`ll be a load of mitigation, good character, career ruined, disgraced, moment of madness etc etc.
A massive fine, a suspended sentence and she`ll be given a " non job " for a while to tide her over, then quietly slip back into politics in a few years.
She blamed an ex-aid knowing they were out of country and gave false details for them, before apparently giving a few no comments when interviewed.
Then, she blamed her brother for driving the vehicle and all while an MP who is a qualified lawyer. As @tsubaki mentioned, consider all that without pleading...
... I'd put a bet on her getting between twelve and twenty-four months. I can't see her getting the full three years but it may reach close to that!
