Im all for being frustrated and angry at the Labour party but its not as if the other parties voted en mass for a ceasefire.

125 votes with 56 of those coming from the Labour party (plus Kim Johnson who couldnt vote saying she supports it).

It's not an issue I know much about, but to play devil's advocate, could Labour be advocating for a mediocre solution that is achievable rather than the ideal solution that will never happen? We seem to be portraying not voting for a ceasefire as giving Israel carte blanche to blow the crap out of Gaza, which I very much doubt is the position.

These people really have a high opinion of themselves, we had protest marches around the country, the Labour Party and co tearing themselves apart over a cease fire. Now a simple question, does anyone for more than a millisecond think that Israel would take absolutely any notice of what the protesters or the HoC vote result would be. This is juvenile student politics which tbh is embarrassing……
