First class to NYC is less than £5k, so god knows what business class costs, so you're well wrong on the £8k figure.

Keep voting Tory and keep being poor you wetter.
I didn't look that far in advance so it might be cheaper if you do, but £7,500 seemed the average for a return in business

£4,850 was what I last paid flying BA, booking a flight two weeks in advance and returning a week later. That was in March.
FinAir was £3800 I think at the beginning of the year.

But much like the poster I responded to, BA is dated and worthless.

Air France business class if possible. Great value for money.

You have no problem with entitlement then. You do know the government actually make the law ? So why is it such a problem adhering to it for them.

Apparently she did not adhere to the laws in respect of driving. Hands up everyone who has never been 2 miles over a speed limit or picked up a parking ticket. But the entitlement bit I see as a security issue tbh because it would have cost a fortune to vet anyone else on the driving awareness course and would have required additional security. It was a sensible question tbh….

LABOUR CLAIM CREDIT FOR FIRST BLACK MP… 220 YEARS TOO LATE

Over the weekend, Labour launched their new Bernie Grant Leadership Programme, timed to coincide with their celebration of “36 years since the first Black MPs were elected”. Their glitzy announcement video featured contributions from David Lammy and Dawn Butler, who were evidently unaware that the entire premise was incorrect. The first black MP was elected in 1767…

Clearly James Townsend, was also the first black Mayor of London, slipped Labour’s mind. However, this wasn’t just an isolated omission. Labour also failed to mention, amongst others, Henry Redhead Yorke, elected 1841, who was the son of slaves and Peter McLagan, elected 1865, Scotland’s first non-white MP. This didn’t stop David Lammy from repeating the claim that:

“Thirty-six years ago, the first black MPs were elected into the House of Commons to represent their communities as Labour MPs.”
This piece of myth-making is despite the fact the Labour Party didn’t exist when the first black MPs were elected to the Commons.

Guido will leave it to co-conspirators to decide whether Labour’s black history blunder was simple incompetence, a deliberate misrepresentation of history, or a judgement on the ethnicity of Parliament’s trailblazers. If Guido is being generous and not calling Labour’s myth makers knowing liars, they definitely should pay more attention in class during black history month.

I was going to vote Labour but after seeing this article from the repeated drink driver I'm going to vote Lozza Fox.

Warning grown up politics. Good to see Labour and UK now moving back to sensible politics. The EU will want see some sensible and meaningful calm from our Government which Starmer undoubtedly will bring.

ENORMOUS if true

Haha his anti Tory stuff is pretty good TBF but he made his contribution to labour losing the 2019 election. Reminds me a bit of James O'Brien in that regard. He was also touting wealth redistribution once Corbyn was safely defeated.
There’s a few of this lot, they’re horrible smug weasels and are as much to blame for the last 13 years as anyone else.
