I’m inclined to agree with @neil999 here. The tories have happily latched on to a non existent culture war. The next election will be largely fought on much of the above and portraying Labour as ‘metropolitan wokes lol‘ in creating a dialogue of debate that is largely nonsensical. Labour will do well to shut this down and concentrate on policy and Tory failings.
The tories are going to try and keep the red wall vote with a ‘political correctness gone mad’ stance. And I think will largely succeed unfortunately.
