Indeed it is. Conversely you can point at Coleman's record on the right and say Neville has no assists/goals.
I've been over how valuable or otherwise Pienaar is on another thread - to put it into one word, he's "decent". Not "fantastic", but "decent".
We'll just alter how we play on the left to make it similar to how we play on the right. Losing Pienaar isn't the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination; it's just an inconvenience.
Wont go into that as you've agrued your case very well.
I saw him a key member of the squad we're going to missed badly and it will be a big change around in terms of tactics because
Moyes did see him as a key player.
But I've always said we've put ourself in a corner in terms of wages and who gets what since we've dished out £75k a week on Arteta. If a player is important to the squad, which I believe Pienaar was, they deserve to be on a good wage to their peers - that includes a Hibbert, Osman etc for eg...if
Moyes believes they are vital to the cause. End of the day, whats the difference between giving £70k a week to a player or buying a player for £7million for eg over the course of 4 years?
I think he earned the same wage as Arteta based on last year but that's me. But for people to mug him off and say he wasnt good for us is a shame IMO.
But...we're skint and that can only get you so far.
